QUESTIONS THAT I GET FREQUENTLY IN OUR OFFICE
By Dick Geistert, Director Neighborhood Watch / Citizens Patrol

I receive many calls asking questions that are valuable to everyone. I select these and put them on the web page. To access our web page, you can go to Clubs & Groups and click on either Citizens Patrol or Neighborhood Watch. A second way to reach them is to click on Sun City then Service Groups. There you will find us also.

On the Citizens Patrol page you will find our application and our current Training Manual. You can view the deployment roster for the next three months. Here you can also send us an e-mail to sign up for your desired patrol date.

Our Neighborhood Watch meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month is open to ALL residents who wish to hear the latest information. For those who can’t attend, the minutes of the last 3 years are posted on our web page. Items that our office gets calls on are listed on our web page:

  • Who is my Team Link? Your Village and Lot # is on you ID card. On the web site look at “Your Team Link & Village Communicator LISTED HERE.”
  • What can we do for a Team function? Look for “Ways to Have Fun in Sun City.”
  • When should I call the Police? See the form “See a Problem – Report a Problem.”
  • What information do you need from a new resident? Have them fill out the “Neighborhood Watch Team Roster.”
  • Is the Vial of Life form on the web? Yes, the “Vial of Life” form is found on the web and used as your medication changes.
  • Plus additional items of interest listed on our web page, all of which can be printed for you in our office.

Remember, as residents it is up to us to watch out for our neighbors. When I get a call on Monday morning telling me what happened on Friday night there is nothing I can do. The Police don’t just serve the Neighborhood Watch office, they serve the residents of Roseville. When you see something wrong, call immediately and let the police check it out. 774-5000 is the non-emergency number. They are here and want to serve us. Let our office know also so I can include it in our monthly crime report.
